This shoot is one that I am most excited to share about in a long time because of the heart of the shoot, and the sweet family behind it. Last year one of our sweet friends, Elizabeth, got married. The third daughter in the family to say I do, but before she walked down the aisle to say 'I Do' she got to participate in another very special tradition in their family-- their Something Borrowed, Something Blue Egg Brunch. The morning before the bride of the family goes wedding dress shopping, the other ladies in the family celebrate her by dressing in blue dresses and cooking a beautiful meal for the guest of honor-- something made from farm fresh blue eggs. And considering the family making the meal is the Diefenderfers of Cuppies and Joe, of course the meal is not only special but also yummy!
So Alison with Juniper Designs and I asked the Diefenderfers to let us re-create their special event and share it with you in hopes that you might too use their tradition to celebrate the special brides in your life. Hear more of the story of this amazing family and their tradition from Elizabeth on the Cottage Hill online journal. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
