Cody and Sarah Part 1: Ely Fair, Tulsa Wedding Photographer

I had been following Sarah's pinterest board for months. Really since the time I joined pinterest. She has a fantastic sense of style. The kind of style that I wish I had, but every time that I try to mimic, it just falls a little bit short. After oooing and awwing over the fun things she pinned, and then seeing on FB that she had gotten engaged...I did something I had never done before: I made a shameless plug when congratulating her. Just a little "...and if you guys need wedding photographers...."

I can't believe I did that, I totally broke my own rules! We try to have really good boundaries with people who we know on a more personal level because we are aware that our style of photography may not everyone's cup of tea. It's so important to us that our clients are 100% behind the way that we tell the story of their wedding day, and we never want anyone to hire us just because they know us and know we take photos...that could be a bad situation all around. But I just couldn't help myself with Sarah because I was absolutely certain that her wedding was going to be amazing and beautiful. And that it was! Although I still am a little ashamed of myself, I'm so very glad that we got to be a part of Sarah and Cody's wedding day. :)

Alright, that's it for round one! Stay tuned later this week for the rest!
