I think one of the most fun things about doing senior shoots is remembering back to where I was at that point in life. All of the different directions that were laid out before me, all of the possibilities and opportunities. I know that sounds overly cheesy, but I get all gooey inside thinking about it. And also seeing how all of my choices have played into where I am in my life right now. Chloe hopped in the car with me on the way back from our location and I asked her what she was thinking about majoring in and what she might want to do after her college days. I was so impressed by her maturity and what a great perspective someone her age has. Although there was a 10 year age gap, I still found it so natural to talk to her about what the next few months and year are going to hold for her. Hearing her thoughts and plans just made me so excited for the road that is before her-- all of the friends, and laughter, and late nights, and coffee, and dumb choices, and good choices--and all of the growing into the person you're going to be the rest of your life. It's going to be awesome.
Now, moving on from being nostalgic about a kid that isn't even my own, here is fabulous Chloe and her senior pics.
