Adam & Liz Engaged: Ely Fair, Oklahoma City Photographer

Liz. Oh, my dear friend Liz. So many wonderful things I have to say about this kind, fun and faithful friend. First off, she introduced me to Pride and Prejudice, which still today remains my favorite movie. Focus Feature version, not BBC. I can't say its my favorite book because I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Second, she is one of the most cleverly funny people I know. When I think of Liz, I think of smiles and nights of making pancakes with whatever random thing we grabbed at the grocery store. Incase you are wondering, kiwi is terrible in pancakes. Terrible.

Third, I kind of just want to be Liz when I grow up. She's that great.

I'm over the moon excited for her and her engagement to Adam. I used the opportunity of a photo shoot to grill him to make sure that he is a good seed. Answered all questions adequately, but even louder than the words he spoke I could see the way that he loves Liz in the way that he is so sweet and gentle around her, and the way he lights up when I request for him to give her a smooch for the camera. I whole heartedly approve. :)

I'd like to imagine that Adam proposed by saying "First, I must tell you I've been the most unmitigated and comprehensive ass," even thought I already KNOW that's not how it all went down. But it is still one of my favorite lines ever. But wrapping up, in the words of Mr. Bennett: "I could not have parted with you, my Lizzie, to anyone less worthy." xoely
